Description

Among the gods of Norse mythology, none is more enigmatic than Odin. Seeker of wisdom, master of magic, and ruler of Asgard, he sacrificed greatly in pursuit of knowledge—even surrendering one of his eyes to drink from Mímir’s well.

The Wanderer captures Odin not as a king upon a throne, but as an eternal traveler moving through mist and mystery. His watchful blue eye emerges from the fog, a striking beacon of awareness amid the muted tones of the landscape. Hidden within the haze are Huginn and Muninn, the ravens who journey across the Nine Realms gathering knowledge for their master before returning each evening to whisper what they have seen.

Painted entirely with the classical Zorn palette, The Wanderer explores the tension between limitation and possibility.
