Christina is really stuck on the fact that everyone thinks her handwriting is abysmal. I think that it’s hilarious. Honestly, I am thinking of doing a post with a bunch of her sticky notes on it and you guys interpreting what she was trying to have me draw….

Anywho, this one is a bison and I am doing it from a hotel on a business trip and I forgot my good eraser and my pencil sharpeners 🤷🏻‍♂️ 🦬

This morning’s prompt was a “raven with key”. Of course, I interpreted that as an entire pile of shiny’s. More is always better right? 🐦‍⬛🔑✨

My wife said act natural. This is me acting natural.

All Grown Up is six paintings asking one question: if they got to choose, who would they grow up to be? One reads the good ones twice. One finally found her voice. One is done waiting to be woken up.

The prints are 13×19, signed and numbered by me, and there are only 50 of each. When they’re gone, they’re gone. Know someone who loves alternative or fairy tale art? This one’s a gift that’ll actually get hung on the wall.
Shop the series at the link in my bio.

Day 3
So this is an official thing now… I got a “stern talking to” for not drawing anything yesterday. 😂 I woke up early to knock this out before she wakes up. ❤️

We are sitting in the hotel lobby for @worldfantasycon26 and Christina said it’s time for my daily drawing practice. Skull and flowers this time. The 30 minute time constraint forces me to just draw and keep everything super loose. None of these are going to be perfect, but I think that’s going to make them (and me) better in the long run.

Christina is adamant that I start doing smaller original art. Also, I get a lot of crap because people like my graphite and I have shied away from it over the last year… this is her forcing me to draw daily, mostly for fun and practice, but with the intention of stealing some of these to be sold at some point. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Loading up the truck and heading to Oakland 🖤

This Thursday through Sunday, October 22–25, my originals will be hanging in the World Fantasy Convention Art Show at the Oakland Marriott City Center, and my prints will be in the Print Shop. If you’re attending, come find my panels and put your name on a bid sheet.

Big thanks to @worldfantasycon26 and the art show team for having me. Can’t make it to Oakland? Everything else is at moderatelyfineart.com.
