Welcome
This site is where I share the work I’ve built over years—drawings, paintings, prints, and objects shaped by discipline, story, and lived experience. I’m a former U.S. Navy Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewman and Special Operations Combat Medic. That background informs how I work, but it doesn’t define everything I make. What matters is clarity, intent, and follow-through.
My artwork is rooted in narrative and symbolism. I’m drawn to imagery that carries weight—figures that suggest history, moments that feel earned rather than decorative. Much of the work pulls from mythology and folklore, not as fantasy, but as a way to talk about duty, sacrifice, identity, and transition. Those themes tend to resonate whether you’ve worn a uniform or not.
Music has become a key part of my process. Many recent pieces are created in direct response to specific artists or albums. Rhythm, repetition, and emotional tone influence how a piece develops over time. I’m interested in the overlap between sound and image—how both can carry meaning without explanation, and how they reveal more the longer you live with them.
This site brings together different facets of my practice. You’ll find original artwork and fine art prints created to stand on their own, alongside merchandise designed to put the imagery into everyday use. Some work is meant to be lived with, worn down, or carried forward—not everything needs to stay pristine.
The portfolio section presents a more focused view of the work as a whole. It’s intended for galleries, juried exhibitions, and collectors who want to understand the broader direction and consistency of the practice.
I also accept commissioned work. These projects are collaborative and deliberate, with a clear process and expectations from the start. Whether it’s a portrait or a symbolic piece, commissions receive the same attention and standards as my independent work.
This blog will function as a working log—updates on new pieces, thoughts on influences, and occasional insight into process and decision-making. It’s not a highlight reel. It’s a record of the work as it evolves.
If you come from a military background, you’ll recognize the values behind the work. If you don’t, no explanation is required. The goal is honest work, made with intention, that stands up on its own.
Take your time. If something here resonates, that’s enough.
